हिन्दू त्योहारों को वैदिक ब्राह्मणों ने बौद्ध धर्म से चुराकर और अपना लेबल चिपकाकर मार्किट में उतारा। कैसे (1) गुरु पूर्णिमा :- गौतम बुद्ध ने आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा के दिन सारनाथ में प्रथम बार पांच परिज्रावको को दीक्षा दी थी। ये दिन बौद्धों के जीवन में गुरु पूर्णिमा के नाम से जाना जाता था।बौद्ध धर्म समाप्त करने के बाद ब्राह्मण धर्म के ठेकेदारो ने इस पर कब्ज़ा किया। (2) कुम्भ मेला :- कुम्भ का मेला बौद्ध सम्राट हर्षवर्धन ने शुरू करवाया था जिसका उद्देश्य बुद्ध की विचारधारा को फैलाना था। इस मेले में दूर दूर से बौद्ध भिक्षु,श्रमण,राजा,प्रजा, सैनिक भाग लेते थे। बौद्ध धर्म समाप्त करने के पश्चात ब्राह्मणों ने इसको अपने धर्म में  लेकर अन्धविश्वास घुसा दिया। (3) चार धाम यात्रा :- बौद्ध धर्म में चार धामों का विशेष महत्त्व था। ब्राह्मणों ने बौद्ध धर्म के चार धामो को अपने काल्पनिक देवी-देवताओ के मंदिरो में बदल दिया और अपने धर्म से जोड़ दिया। (4) जातक कथाएँ :-  जातक कथाये बौद्ध धर्म में विशेष महत्त्व रखती है। इन कथाओ द्वारा बौद्धिस्ट की दस परमिताओं को समझाया जाता था। कुछ कथाये गौतम बुद्ध काल की ...
